Aylesbury Woodlands is an innovative mixed use development led by the provision of commercial premises to facilitate employment growth and delivery of the Eastern Link Road (South). It will also include residential housing, leisure and recreational opportunities plus a new primary school.
An outline planning application for Aylesbury Woodlands was submitted to Aylesbury Vale District Council, following extensive community and stakeholder engagement, and approved – subject to conditions and completion of planning (‘S.106’) agreements – on 26 October 2017.
In March 2020 Aylesbury Vale District Council issued a formal request under Regulation 22 of the 2011 Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations for further information regarding the Woodlands Planning Application (and several other current Aylesbury Vale planning applications) due to the publication of the Aylesbury Transport Model 2020.
In response to the Regulation 22 Request Buckinghamshire Advantage has submitted an Environmental Statement Addendum and supporting information for the Woodlands Planning Application to Buckinghamshire Council on 27th November 2020.
The next step is for Buckinghamshire Council to process and consult on the Environmental Statement Addendum and for the Woodlands Planning Application to be resubmitted to the Council’s Planning Committee – anticipated by February 2021.
